I believe there more palm trees than lamp posts.
The behind the big and rusty gate is a huge garden of the Marquis of Pombal. There are some horses enjoying the garden too.
There are many cafes with small entrances.
Lovely colour in the reflection of the sun light.
Old shavers in the front window of a barbershop.
The only shop where you can buy the Calcavelos wines. The grapes are grown in Oeiras too.
The entrance of the Cultural Centre which has an exhibition area with regular and important programmes, and of course. a tea room and restaurant too.

A small square in the middle of the downtown. I like the orange tree standing alone in the corner.

The square outside of the church. It seems like here is a meeting place for local people.
Lovely colours of the houses. I wonder how they pick up a colour?     The city hall is also pink :)
The garden and the Palace of the Marquis of Pombal, classified as national monument and an example of the valuable 18th century heritages. The architect was Carlos Mardel who played a major role in the Pombaline reconstruction of Lisbon following the earthquake of 1755.
I'd love to try the cough drop.
A building under construction. What a lovely exteriour!
